SNACK Defense Known Snack Units

Rarity notes and obtain methods for the snacks creators actually talk about.

Snack Units Index

This Snack Units Index catalogs the SNACK Defense towers that show up repeatedly in creator guides, Update 2 coverage, and early-meta tier talk. It is not a datamined encyclopedia of every common crumb—only snacks we can describe without inventing numbers. Pair it with the Snacks hub, Traits & Money III, and the Tier List Hub when deciding what to keep, fuse, or feed trait dice.

How to read each entry

Each snack note covers rarity band, how players usually obtain it, and why it matters in the current early meta. DPS figures appear only when creators publicly claim them (and we mark claims as claims). If a snack is missing, it is because we lack solid public confirmation—not because the kitchen is empty.

Rare staples

Watermelon (Rare)

Watermelon is the early-game headliner. Creators call it a strong Rare that holds Enchanted Forest lanes before Epics and Jackpot legendaries arrive. Obtain it primarily through Standard summons (and whatever starter luck the game gives). Upgrade Watermelon early; put strong traits on it before spreading dice across bench warmers. See Early Game Picks for loadout pairing.

Honey Bear

Honey Bear appears constantly beside Watermelon in beginner footage. Treat it as a flexible early partner—second lane pressure or support depending on your exact kit—rather than a disposable duplicate. Standard banner density makes Honey Bear easy to own; the skill is upgrading the right copy and not locking three identical boards without cash for levels.

Boba (Rare)

Boba is another Rare that fills early coverage. Keep it when it helps pathing or when you lack Honey Bear. It rarely outranks Watermelon in consensus carry talk, so trait priority usually stays on your main clear snack first.

Epic and flexible mid pieces

Burger (Epic)

Burger sits in the Epic band. Landing Burger is a natural mid-early spike if you can afford placement upgrades. Epics bridge the gap between Rare forests and Jackpot legendaries; they are excellent Gourmet/Standard chase targets once your Rare core exists. Rank fluctuates map-to-map—check the tier list after balance notes.

Mustard

Mustard shows up in summon montages and mid boards as a situational piece. Useful for learning harder kitchens; not automatically a Money III candidate unless it becomes your most-placed tower.

Bacon

Bacon likewise appears in Update-era clears as supplemental damage. Creators sometimes pivot cash into Bacon mid-run when Watermelon alone cannot finish a wave. Hold copies for fusion/index progress; promote Bacon only when your clears prove it.

Jackpot legendaries (Update 2 spotlight)

Cinnamun Roll (Legendary)

Cinnamun Roll is a Legendary face of the Jackpot summon track highlighted throughout Update 2 coverage. Expect highlight-reel placements on B’s Diner and later Endless attempts. Jackpot is separate from Standard/Gourmet—budget for it deliberately rather than treating every login as a must-spin.

Sunny Side Up

Sunny Side Up (fried-egg energy, Jackpot pool) is the other Update 2 legendary creators name beside Cinnamun Roll. Same advice: powerful when hit, not a substitute for learning Rare fundamentals. Trait economy lines still matter so legendary upgrades stay affordable.

More Jackpot faces may exist in the banner UI; we only spotlight names with repeated public callouts to avoid fan-fiction fillers.

Limited and event snacks

Limited Soda

Limited Soda is a limited poison snack. Shop pricing widely cited at about 25,000 gems or 499 Robux, with stock counters during sale windows. Creators advertise strong max poison DPS (around an 18k poison claim in coverage). It pressures nearby enemies and can jump a struggling account forward—or empty the gem bank needed for Gourmet and trait dice. Read gem farm and the S-tier notes on the Tier List Hub before buying.

Avocado (Farm event)

Avocado is tied to farm-style events rather than the everyday Standard loop. Chase Avocado while the event is live, log it in your index for collection rewards, then reassess whether it stays in the endless loadout. Event details rotate—see Events.

Other snacks you may own

Public footage also shows early kitchen pieces such as fries, hot dog-style towers, cookie variants (including shinies), and money-oriented “toaster” style helpers. Exact names and passives vary by patch presentation. If you own a snack not listed above:

  1. Note its rarity tag in-game.
  2. Test it on Enchanted Forest before trait dumping.
  3. Compare clear time against Watermelon / Honey Bear baselines.
  4. Watch Update 2 and future notes for official naming.

We would rather leave a row blank than invent a passive.

Collection systems that touch every unit

  • Index rewards — collecting rarities (and shinies) pays progress; weak snacks still have inventory value.
  • Titles — map and level milestones (including cook-style ranks toward higher level caps) sit beside roster growth; see Update 2 notes.
  • Fusion / jumbo direction — creators highlight merging copies to strengthen units; keep fodder until you understand the sink.
  • Traits — Money III and peers change effective tier; open traits.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for SNACK Defense players.

Is Watermelon really better than other Rares?

In early-meta creator consensus, yes for many boards. Always verify on your current map after patches.

How do I get Cinnamun Roll or Sunny Side Up?

They are highlighted as Jackpot summon legendaries in Update 2 coverage. Jackpot is a separate summon track from Standard and Gourmet.

What does Limited Soda cost?

Creators cite roughly 25,000 gems or 499 Robux during limited stock windows. Confirm the live shop price in-game before purchasing.

Will you list every common snack?

Only when we have solid public confirmation. This index prefers accuracy over padded filler names.

Where should I put traits first?

On the snack you place every clear—often Watermelon early—especially toward Money III style economy. See the traits guide.
